Ann Wilson lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She was educated at the University of Toronto, first in English Literature and then in Law. After working as a lawyer in the private and public sectors, she became a painter. Working in oil on canvas and wood, and in encaustic, her paintings often reflect her Canadian roots, and include cottage, rural, urban and domestic images.
Ann's works have been shown widely, and are hanging in homes and cottages and offices in Toronto, Muskoka, Ottawa, Halifax, Montreal, Vermont, Nantucket, Florida, Lebanon and elsewhere.
In 2012 Ann was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal.
